Dan re-envisioned a guitar as a very original project enclosure -
This is my very first electric guitar which was recently re-born to be a weird sound generator (www.musicfromouterspace.com) with a hand-made motherboard pick guard. Also affectionately known as the Fender Bender.

Hi, I like making as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but am I the only one who thinks turning a perfectly good 300-800$ fender strat into a $12 wsg seems like more than a waste. I thought repurposing was meant for things of little or no value that were left behind. And While I slightly like the mod, I cant for the life of me figure out why there arent at least strings on it still for another form of sound generation. Sorry Im not trying to be negative, just honest. If you ask me some non musical techy decided to destroy his nice guitar because he was unable to ever play it. You should have sold the guitar and got yourself a 99$ knock off to screw up. Dont stop making just dont turn my mercedes into a go-kart....
