Cute little set of "ghetto speakers" make from four disposable waters cups and toothpicks. Something for the kids to do on a rainy day, not as a replacement for your Bose (or your Altec Lansing).

Nice design and simply elegant. On a separate note, I think it's time to give up the use of "ghetto" in this context - a bit overused and (as a Black person) I'm a little tired of seeing it, although I understand the intent.

Funny, but the cups don't actually add to the sound.

hahaha I think Ill make those one day. and just because youre black doesn't give you the authority on when and how the term ghetto is used. That is unless you live in the ghetto, and then it doesn't matter what race you are. Just being black has no relation whatsoever. I do agree with you though

"As a Black Person" you're tired of hearing the word ghetto, Linda? Go talk to a Jew about the ghetto.

agreed, the term "ghetto" does not have any specific racial implications.

Not to flame Bose, but I'm sure if they are using similar technology in their $1000 speakers with not much better results.
At least these hold true to stereophonic sound, not "Advanced Wave Technology".
