the acceleration was. cant imagine it accelerated very well.

You would think that Make would have been all over the "Mudge Pond Express" or Wind Wagon that was supposedly a design out of one of those books for boys during the early part of the 20th century. The Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, TN has an example built out of angle iron, motorcycle parts and other scraps.
