Some of you asked "Can I watch Make: television on YouTube?" - Of course! Here are all 4 parts of the premiere, in HD, on YouTube!
- Maker Profile - Bicycle Rodeo (YouTube HD).
- Maker Workshop VCR Cat Feeder (YouTube HD).
- Maker to Maker - Nibbler (YouTube HD).
- Maker Channel 101 Screambody, Laser Harp, Cupcake Carts, TV-B-Gone (YouTube HD).

Could the videos be on an uTorrent compatible RSS so it could be auto-downloaded? I'm not an iTunes fan, so could this be possible?
Greets from Mexico City, great show, and GREAT MAGAZINE! it helped us a lot in class here.

...but I didn't have high hopes for this show. I'm not sure why. In any case, I was really amazed at how good it was. The in-depth thing at the front, the project, the "maker to maker" tip AND the "public" things were all great segment ideas and worked well. Also, my two young makers were both very inspired by various parts.
Well done!

@anon - as others have said here, it's beautiful and in HD. if you can't see it properly on youtube check your settings, it might be set to show a low res version. if that's not working, watch it on vimeo, blip.tv or download the files directly. and lastly, if your computer cannot display HD i could potentially send you a DVD.

@DU - i think everyone is general has been in a crummy mood, maybe over the last decade, our expectations are low, we expect the worse, and i think it was a self fulfilling prophecy for many. we have such high hopes and standards for MAKE tv, the teams who work on it are the best in the world, the makers are brilliant, the community has been wonderful. i'm so glad we can delight people with this show and i'm thrilled to hear your kids liked it too... that's really who this is for, but adults can watch too :)

Phillip,
Great job on the show! I like the individual segment clips placed here. It 'Makes' it convenient to forward preferred segment links.
Here are two requests:
If possible, include a link to the entire episode including the MAKE: Television opening and closing credits as it will be seen on the PBS stations. (For some of us, the local PBS affiliate will not yet air the show and it would be nice to see how a complete episode appears to television viewers).
Or, include another Youtube clip of just the show opening and closing credits.
Let us know if the show gets the green light for Season 2.
Thanks much,
Sneakyuser

@Sneakyuser - i'll send your note to the tpt folks (they also read all these) and i'll see if we get post a BIG one-file HD episode, the challenge is - the file size, it might be GIGs, so perhaps i'll set up a torrent. i'll also see if they can encode an opener and closer.
as far as season 2 goes, we could use everyone's help - get the word out about the show, if you know a cool company that would love to be part of creating the next generation of scientists, engineers and the curious - let us know, we'll need sponsorship to keep the show going in the years to come.

I just see what turns up in my RSS downloads folder to watch, so if you can make a RSS feed just like eztv and those guys do, or even better, get it included on eztvs feeds they already have
Good quality please. I know that vimeo and youtube claim they are HD, and resolution wise they are, but they are no match for even a low bitrate scene release...

Phillip,
Thank you for posting the entire episode in the Mp4 format.
I hope you continue to produce Mp4 files for future shows on the Home page.
