This seems more like the meme-fawning, mashup-obsessed BoingBoing mindset than the DIY mindset. But maybe I'm just grumpy today.

Maybe - did you sleep badly? I like this one because it's so odd-looking, and it's a fun way for a kid or adult to learn some sewing skills. :)

or maybe you didn´t notice that the entire thing seems to be a joke about mutations caused by Depleted Uranium used illegally in war... that´s something to be grumpy about.
