RSSThis art project called "Yokohama Soundscape 2007" allows visitors to shine light with infrared flashlights onto a miniature model of Yokohama, Japan. As the beams move around the city, a camera above tracks their presence and plays samples recorded from the locations of the city being targeted. We've mentioned this project here in the past, but here's a nice video showing it in action. Overall, it's an interesting way to integrate geographical mappings to sound placement in the city.
