Any idea if the laser can cycle on and off fast enough to transmit spdif signals?

The picture says it all: If you're geeky enough to do this, chances are the only one you'll be able to communicate to is yourself...but to add effect, you'll keep switching into different tuxedos to play different characters.
Just kidding, looks fun - even for the kids. Just watch your eyes!
