Patti at New World Geek sent us a link to this post showing a clever use of rain gutter as a wall-borne gardening system.
The photo was taken by Suzanne Forsling. It's her gutter gardens, on her house in Juneau, AK. She took the picture for an article she wrote in the Juneau Empire called "How does Your garden grow?"
Very cool! No bending over to weed, eliminates most of the vermin damage, 0 footprint, and you could set up a gravity based drip system to irrigate everything
easily.
I've been thinking about a turntable system with stacked layers, but this is much easier -- nice work!
