Would this bike be illegal in ten states?

(And yes, this is, of course, stupidly dangerous)

Cute, but can you imagine breaking all your fingers when you crash? :P

who says you have to get off your bike to street fight.
after all force= mass x acceleration.

  3. Jack of all trades says:

Ouch, I can’t imagine the pain of breaking all of my fingers on this thing!

Maybe they should add a seat belt too!! Double the pain!

  4. Crispin Proctor says:

would you do that? Not one to point out things that should not be on Make blog but this in one of them. I have a playing card in my spokes – does it warrant a post?

  5. Anonymous says:

Not *that* much more dangerous than a fixed gear bike to begin with; if you’re going to have a bike without brakes, you might as well hold on for the ride :)

This bike is clearly as much a fashion statement as a means of transport (nothing wrong with that in principle), so we should be surprised if practicality is given a back seat to ‘looking like a bad-ass with knuckledusters’.
