Citizen Engineer zine/comic/kit

It's a good thing that Limor and Phil of adafruit industries only use their powers for good. Otherwise, we'd all be in trouble. The dynamic hacking duo has just released a new comic book version of their awesome Citizen Engineer video, episode 1, on SIM card hacking. They're printing the books on-demand at adafruit, limited edition, 32-page, full-color. It also comes with an adafruit SIM Reader Kit v1.0. Can't wait to get mine. I haven't fed my zine/ homebrewed comics habit in a while. Great job, guys!

This is awesome!

Sure, you can buy a SIM reader off ebay or dealextreme for a buck and change, but this is so much cooler!

Great Job Kidz!

Limor and Phil,
Citizen Engineer ZCKv1 (zine/comic/kit) is such a cool idea!
And the video is a perfect companion. I can hardly wait for the next episode.
Thank You both.

Next episode

I really like your show, when is the next episode coming?

new volume in august... we hope!

i think we can get the next one out in august, video followed by comic book again - when we shoot these i do the storyboards first for the comic and then shoot the video so i can pull the frames from the video for the comic. should be faster this time.

nit picking...

Limited edition print on demand?

I think I'm gonna have to call BS on that one.

limited edition = you can't demand me to make more

hi @Anonymous - yes, it's limited edition and print on demand. you can demand i print one later, but i will not, it's limited. i think it's clear, but if it isn't i hope it is now.
