Mower motor generator

Got an extra mower handy? You can build a generator from it using an automotive alternator. There are designs for horizontal axis and vertical axis motors.

Great idea

Sounds like a great idea, but I am having trouble accessing the site.. getting forbidden error message. Is it just me?

I think I should point out here that lawn motors are horribly inefficient. While this is an interesting project, it's certainly not good for the environment.
