I have one of Peter J. Jansen's clocks that I built from a kit, and I couldn't be happier. His webstore is at http://www.store.tubeclock.com/
Great kits and great customer service. My clock has been running continuously for over two years now and it still looks new.

That's great to know, Jeff. I keep looking at his offerings and thinking about getting a kit. Which one did you get?

Hey we had some fun building a nixie alarm clock. It even has a snooze! We wanted to create from scratch the circuit boards. Three plates (boards) were specifically designed; one for holding the displays and interface button, one for the clock electronics and one for the speaker, and to act as a base for the entire clock.
