

We're very happy to announce that we've lined up some fun workshops this coming week leading up to the main event on Saturday, September 19. These workshops are free and open to the public; some of the workshops will have materials fees if you want to make something and take it home.
Here are some of the workshops (all events are at Slater Mill in Pawtucket RI unless noted):
- Cristina DiChiera from RISCA will explain how you can apply for grants to make things (5:30pm Tuesday, September 15)
- AS220 Labs' Nomadic Fab Lab comes to Slater Mill (5:30pm Tuesday, September 15)
- Asher Dunn from Keeseh Studio helps you Make Your Own Wooden Thumb Drive Housing (5:30pm Wednesday, September 16)
- Learn how to create Augmented Reality experiences with the folks from the Intel Computer Clubhouse (7:30pm Wednesday, September 16)
- Mitch Altman will be teaching people how to make cool things with microcontrollers (5:30pm Thursday, September 17)
- A circuit bending workshop with Jimmie P. Rodgers (5:30pm Thursday, September 17)
- Atari punk console workshop with Jimmie P. Rodgers (7:30pm Thursday, September 17)
- CNC Routing demos at Keeseh studio (4:00pm Thursday, September 17)
