Our pal Jeri Ellsworth got to don the telepresence rig for the Anybots robot. Cool stuff. My favorite part of the vid is this exchange:

Jeri: "I'm scared to crash it"
Anybots' Trevor Blackwell: "You should be."

Now that's no way to instill confidence! :-)

Why ?

I've been saying this technology needed to be married a long time ago, if they'd use a robot like Asimo the possibilities are endless.

Much scarier in person!

I have to say that standing there, I was both amazed and also terrified of being run over by a large, mostly metal robot. :-)
