Wow! Great link and project and really well written up. The use of Technic Lego for the mechanicals is a great idea. Be interesting to see how it comes out and what the photographs are like. I really like the cardboard aperture. For years I had an old brass aperture ring as a key chain but I lost it somewhere one day.

I'm surprised that the person doing this didn't find a copal shutter mechanism. They can be scavenged from any number of old folder cameras. Shutter and aperture combined in a single convenient unit!
