Boing Boing’s Cory Doctorow picked up my post yesterday about Christopher Schaie’s gorgeous brass and wood irising door peephole, and within a few hours one of his fans (Jason Baker) made a cardboard replica and presented it to him, in person, at a book-signing. And then Cory blogged the replica. All within the space of 24 hours. The internet is an amazing thing. I don’t think Christopher himself–the guy who actually made the original–has even checked his e-mail yet.
