Daniel Wyllie L. Rodrigues of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created a series of beautiful cut-paper sculptures using what he calls “polyflaptiles”. Daniel, who holds a PhD in Design Science from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), packs his Flickr page full of cool geometric papercraft projects including these excellent nested rhombic dodecahedrons I wrote about in March.
