In hindsight, I realized the wiring diagram I posted for the recent Circuit Skills perfboard project left something to be desired (something = offboard parts/connections). So, if you’ve been stumped on what wire goes where – hopefully the above image will clear things up a bit. Of course, this is just what worked for me – feel free to deviate/mod/improve on it as you see fit.

Also, for those curious as to how I made that there fancy graphical layout – I used Omnigraffle along with a component ‘stencil set’ I also drew up with the program (which can be downloaded here)

    The diagram appears to show a floating capacitor that isn’t connected to anything?
