Spotted in the MAKE Flickr pool:

Flickr user vamapaull lent his digital camera to a friend, who managed to lose its control knob. When the camera was returned a few days late, it sported this beautiful wooden wheel. I want one for my camera!

If I saw your caption in print, the sharpie would be out to make some permanent corrections. One typo may be a mistake, but two in a row smacks of indolence.

Neat MAKE-y find, but please do yourself a favor and proofread before posting!

Turnip, I’m pretty sure you’re confused about which “its” to use. Matt’s right. “It’s” is a contraction of “it is” not “it” possessive. So be careful with that Sharpie! (Which you should have capitalized, BTW).

    This is very nice.

It is also possible to make things like this out of Fimo. (modelling clay).

I made some buttons for a walkman which had got ost. The rsult was a working walkman which looked as new.

This is really cool. Would be ace if you could create a completely wooden case for it! Although i doubt it would be water proof!
