Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - His own MGDpc!

Since I have actually built exactly 1 PC case mod in my life I figured I should show it during this series. It was built in early 2004 when I needed a portable computer to do the looping for my independent film but was too cheap to buy a laptop.

Check out more pics and a description of the guts after the break!

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Max PC (featuring the Hulk)

Today's mod pic is the animated Hulk PC mod that advertises Maximum PC. Instead of being a modded case, it's more like the guts of a computer that got caught in an action sequence. Most of the pictures of construction are embedded in a Flash, so it's hard to use them here, but I'll still talk about what's so cool in this project after the break.

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Wolfenstein PC!

OK technically the creator "Sheyr" calls it the FuG-01/ET but regardless, it's a really sweet looking stock case mod based off the classic game Castle Wolfenstein (which I remember playing WAY WAY back on my Atari 800)

For more pics and details check the story below.

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Half-Life 2 PC

I came across this PC build on the interwebs the other day and it really caught my eye. Built by a modder known as "Geno" for a contest, it's meant to honor the game Half-Life 2 in case that wasn't completely obvious.

Let's take a closer look!

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Gameboy XP PC!

Ok, ok, I know some of you out there might be thinking "That mod isn't very cool!" but hey - they fit an XP compatible computer inside of an original Gameboy case. That's gotta be worth something! I found this interesting and thus am discussing it in today's article.

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - the Telecaclulograph!

A modder by the call sign "Jake of all Trades" built this impressive Victorian-era PC case mod and I thought I'd share it with you all. It's not quite as fancy as some of the others featured in this series but is special just the same.

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Russian TV PC!

I couldn't find a lot of information about this mod but it's pretty cool looking so I'm covering it anyway.

From what I could gather this was a joint effort by some people around Europe, and sold by eBay member "puike" of the UK. It's an AMD based PC built inside of an old Russian TV, which itself is in very good condition for its age.

For mores pics and why I think it's swell, check after the bump!

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - WMD PC

This awesome mod was built by Peter Dickison and is of course meant to look like a nuclear bomb from your average action movie.

The metal working is great, let's take a look at it in more detail, shall we?

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Chernobyl PC!

My PC mod pic of the day was built by a young German modder named "Froop". It's an awesome Chernobyl-based PC case he calls "Unit 4". It also has some themes from the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

For a closer look at all of the painstaking detail he put into this, see the rest of the story!

Benheck's PC Mod Pick of the Day - Atari 800 ITX

My pick for today's PC Mod is the Atari 800 ITX, built by Andy Huston. There is a lot of bias at work here as the Atari 800 was my first computer / gaming system, and I actually still have it sitting on my desk.

Though it is sad to see it with the beloved ANTIC/POKEY chips and other vintage 70's electronics, it's still cool to see a classic computer used in the manner.
