That sour cream apple pie looks delicious! I made a blackberry crumble pie for Pi day and it is awesome! I am a sucker for blackberries but it would be great with other fruit like raspberries or rhubarb… even peaches.
“March 14 is known around the world as Pi Day, due to the date’s numerical similarity to pi”
unfortunately , march 14 is known as 14-3 in the biggest part of the world, and has nothing to do with any pi
While it’s true that much of the world uses the date format [day/month/year] rather than [month/day/year], there is no 14th month, so I think even in those [day/month/year] places, some take the opportunity to celebrate pi. Using Google Translate, I find evidence that Pi Day is acknowledged in many countries around the world. But it is worth noting that the 14th of March is not referred to as 3/14 the world around.
