Maker Faire NY crew member Nick Normal spotted this window of Singer sewing machines somewhere in Boston. What a cool idea for a display!
It’s an Allsaints Spitalfields store (http://www.allsaints.com/)–all of their windows have antique sewing machines lined up like that.
They have these at all of their shops in the UK too.
A friend of mine actually asked if they were going to have any to give away when they were finished with that display, but she was told they are planning on keeping them there permanently
They have this store here in soho too. But it makes me really sad because they are taking up all the antique sewing machines and not leaving any for people who want to buy them!
Actually I think they are reproductions, not antique.
