My husband, Bruce, sent me to this fabulous site that features the work of Bryan Nash Gill, who uses relief printing and a time-consuming scratching technique on sections of logs to create wonderful pieces of art.

Ashes & Milk, the online gallery that sells Bryan’s work, also offers an amazing range of art pieces that rely on natural elements — stone, clay, textiles, wood, metal, and paper — to be specific. Their aesthetic is very appealing, to both the modern woman and the hippie chick living inside me, which is very difficult to do.
