As soon as I saw this picture over on Pinterest, I immediately recognized the pattern as one of Carina’s. Instead of floss stitches on fabric, though, this design was executed using sprinkles on the frosting of a cake. Stephanie of Clockwork Lemon used one of Carina’s embroidery patterns as inspiration for the delicate placement of sprinkles on the cake to replicate embroidery stitches. It was understandably a ton of work, but I think was totally worth the effort. It’s beautiful!
