Earlier this week I wrote about my stop to Fancy Tiger while in Denver this summer. Well, right after I had fun there, I headed over to Tomte, another crafty gem in the city.

You’re greeted right away with vintage furniture outside and an open door, leading you to a collection of fantastic goods. From screen printed to wallpaper they hung themselves and vintage dishes housing brand-new craft finds, Tomte represents a well-thought-out approach to setting up shop. I even had a great chat with Becky Wareing, of Becky’s Buttons and the Denver Handmade Alliance, about Denver’s craft scene. So much fun.
I love how owners Brett and Crystal describe why they opened the store:
Tomte Craft is the product of the travels of Brett and Crystal from Vital Industries. As the creators behind Vital, we travel to craft fairs throughout the country and meet lots of great crafters making lots of great products. As sellers on Etsy.com, we are again exposed to great vendors. So, we decieded to bring all this greatness to Denver. Please stop by Tomte and see all the awesome handmade goodness yourself!
Take a look at these pictures to get an idea of what Tomte offers.
