That is just beautiful! Unfortunately, I’m not seeing a real written-out pattern linked any where. Oh well, maybe I’ll work the math out myself and attempt one…someday… Thanks for sharing it!
I’d like the pattern too
YES ME TOO I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE THIS FOR MY DAUGHTERS ROOM AFTER WE PAINT AND REDO HER ROOM
The pattern is there-you just have to know where to look. First, sign up for ravelry.com. It’s free, it’s easy, and if you’re into knitting and/or crocheting, it’s an invaluable resource. You’ll go to the project page for the rainbow piece. At the top of the description of the piece, it says Pattern. Next to it, the name of the pattern is a link that will take you to the actual pattern page.
I can’t find the pattern either. Can you help me please?
You were very generous to give the location of this pattern. However, I have looked every where for this pattern. It can not be found using your directions. Please help all of us that want this pattern. Thanks so much.
Hi, to everyone who is having trouble finding the pattern: First, there is no specific pattern for this project, the person who made it used the table runner pattern that I linked to, but she modified it herself to make it look like a rainbow. Second, Julie already left a comment a few days ago that explains better than I can about how Ravelry works, you just have to sign up for it. The pattern that the rainbow fractal project is definitely there, but the rest you’re just gonna have to figure out on your own.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I do not locate a link to the pattern on Ravelry either–are you going to post the pattern? It is a wonderful design–thanks!
Having a Ravelry account I followed the directions. However, after several clicks what I got was the image of this pamphlet (Burda Special, E 584: Crochet Lace). Several other attempts led me to a germanic language blog, a forum with everyone asking (how do I get the pattern?), and a link to a Facebook page (which is in Spanish) of a woman who made a solid color one.
Best bet: try to find a copy of the Burda Special pamphlet on Amazon or E-Bay because the individual pattern is NOT available through Ravelry. Which is too bad, I would totally buy it.
Further searching led me to this website:
http://www.velona.com/items/categories/burda.html
Which has a listing for the Burda 584 Magazine but it is listed as Out of Print and Sold Out.
Several other issues are available however.
Reblogged this on Eccentric and Bent.
Here is the link to the one on Ravelry. It is not a free pattern, you have to purchase it.
