I really like this cross-stitch Mother’s Day card from Maggie Makes–the colors really pop and it’s nice to see a break from pink! As a word nerd, I must admit the lack of apostrophe gave me pause, but here’s the explanation: “Hopefully your mother is not a grammarian…..if she is you can blame me for the lack of apostrophe, I just didn’t like the way it looked. Some call it incorrect punctuation, I call it taking creative license.” I’ve never done any cross-stitching, but this is piquing my interest. (Mom, I hope you didn’t see that!)
