My journey began with this post on MAKE, about “airigami” artist Larry Moss and his amazing balloon-sculpting skills. He’s currently fundraising to build a balloon dinosaur park called Elastic Park, filled with creatures like the one above.
Digging deeper into Larry’s website, I found so many interesting balloon projects in his archives, including Balloon Manor, a Halloween house for which he was featured on MARTHA, and this incredibly detailed project, Once Upon a Time. Watch the video to see the fary-tale sculptures in action, plus a time-lapse of the construction process. Who knew balloons could be made to take on all those shapes?
