If you’re an indoor rock climber, the time might come when you want to build your own climbing wall. Rock climbing holds aren’t as cheap, even though they’re just a bit of plastic or fiberglass. So maybe you’ll decide make your own! On Wardie’s World, Wardie has a post up describing how his friend John made his own rock climbing holds. John decided to make his molds out of clay instead of silicone because of cost — clay is much cheaper. The holds themselves are made of colored resin. It looks like they turned out great!
