A food cooperative in Germany, called The Deli Garage, has developed an edible spray finish, which is apparently harmless and tasteless. It currently comes in: chrome, gold, blue and blush. Unfortunately, it is not available in the United States yet, but I’ve been looking for an excuse to go to Germany anyways.

Edible food spray? That’s disturbingly awesome.
I was trying to figure out how I felt about this. “Disturbingly awesome” is pretty much the right phrase. : )
“Gold is edible too”?
Yes, I suppose it is, but it’s a pointless edibility, as it’s not digested at all, just comes out the other end as sparkles.
But surely you don’t imagine there’s any real gold in that can?
I’d eat it though. If only for the sparkles.
