Here’s something for Shoe Month from a different angle! I love this espadrille tread carpet designed by Martín Azúa Studio. It’s made by women artisans from the region of Murcia, Spain, out of the traditional grass used for the soles of espadrille sandals. The few times I’ve bought espadrilles, they’ve fallen apart pretty quickly; I wished I’d saved them for a smaller version of this! (Via Poppytalk Handmade.)
