“We follow the fashion trend of the pointy boots.” I had never heard of this particular type of footwear, but this episode of Behind The Seams from Vice opened my eyes to a whole new world. The men featured create their own glamorous and customized pointy boots, the pointier the better! Beyond that, they have developed an entire lifestyle dedicated to showcasing their shoes. These cobblers wear skinny jeans to show them off and they choreograph dances for performing in their pointy boots at tribal music shows. They are taking DIY fashion to the next level.

Oh my God! I hope this fashion do not spread through the rest of the country. I live in Sonora and pointy conventional boots are quite common but I have neeeeeever seen this before
I’m an NYC dude. I am so on this. Will approach My local Broadway shoemaker for tips / internship gonna hang my blue suede shoes off the nearest overhead wire ands go Tribal Vaquero ! -C.W.
