Flavored butter: yes! Make your own, freeze it, and slice off chunks as needed. This Michael Chiarello recipe for Roasted Garlic Thyme Butter looks fantastic. Although if you read the recipe, he actually has you sautée the garlic cloves in olive oil, which is not technically roasting. Still, it sounds delicious.
