When Stephanie Lau of All About Ami decided to crochet a dragon in time for the Chinese New Year, she searched for “cute dragon” on the Internet and found this adorable image:

After a slightly difficult search, she finally tracked down the artist as Kim Roundtree of Oborocharms.
Stephanie and her “hubby” Ryan did a fabulous job in transforming this image into an adorable 3-D amigurumi (she crocheted while he came up with the wings and the other wonderfully crafty details). And they have generously offered the pattern to us so that we can all have a cute cuddly dragon to call our own.
