We have just one week to go in our school year, and the kids are already making big plans for hitting the pool most every day this summer. We always have to lug loads of gear with us, so I’m forever in search of the perfect pool/beach tote that can not only accommodate all our belongings, but can also stand up to dampness and can be easily washed. I’ll be trying this tote project from Alisa Burke for sure. She uses cut up beach towels to create them and shows a couple of variations on how to piece them. Now I’m thinking I could make one for each kid so they could carry their own stuff ….
