I love the idea of making a soft, fabric version of a checkers set. Jessica Levit of Juicy Bits shares her tutorial for making this fun bean bag checkers set, complete with a pocket for storing pieces. It would be a fun challenge to find fabrics that have motifs that could be used to create the two kind of pieces for the set!
