While most of the time I enjoy the instant gratification of a super-quick craft, I also really love and appreciate projects that require a bit more time and focus. This beautiful clustered pearl necklace from Alicia at Dismount Creative is a great example. While not a difficult project, it’s one that will take some time to complete as you repeat the process of stringing and attaching the pearls. There is something zen-like when you get in to a project that has a lot of repetition. You can kind of get lost in the moment and just enjoy it, and at the end you have a beautiful piece of work that leaves you feeling deeply satisfied. Instant gratification is nice and all, but it can’t hold a candle to the feeling of accomplishment you get when you wear something you’ve spent a decent amount of time making, especially when it’s as stylish as this necklace!
