this is pretty cool, but the downside is that you can’t keep your bobbins with the thread that matches (not a huge deal, but if you have umpty-seven kinds of off-white like i do, it might be handy to keep them together). i use a thread spool rack and stack the bobbins under their corresponding thread. takes up more counter space than this would, though.
