Corinne over at Threadbanger shows us how to recreate the sparkly silver and black bra from Lady Gaga’s Telephone music video. I love how she talked about multiple ways to do the project, including a method that didn’t work out so well and why it failed.

The secret to Gaga’s studded bra is to get 1/2″ cone studs – not pyramid – and use a non- or lightly padded bra. The circular shape of the stud allows for easier movement, and getting rid of foam padding makes things more manageable. Remember to re-line the cups afterwards, to avoid being spiked!
Guh: 1/2″ = 1/4″ — or maybe not!
