This jewelry is so ugly!!! Who thought this was a good idea to put on Craft?

Who over the age of 3 would wear something like that? “Funky” is not the nice way to say “hideous.”

I definitely agree with the above comments. There are a lot of cute ideas for using recycled plasics and metals for jewelry, but this was totally lame. Expecially given the awesome stuff Craft usually has to share.

    Thanks for the feedback, folks!
First off, we have a “be nice” comment policy here on Craft. If something doesn’t float your boat, no problem! Just please be courteous and respectful with your feedback.
Next, sure – this style of jewelry might not be for everyone, but there are some interesting techniques and ideas for reuse of plastic in the presentation that could be applied in a variety of ways and styles. It’s not just about reproducing exactly what you see somewhere, but how you can take those techniques and use them in your own special way.

  5. Hmmm, I agree with everyone. These jewlery pieces look very “kidish”. I would not wear them out in public. Theres got to be a more stylish way to wear recycled jewlery.

I have to agree as well. I suppose this is a great jumping off point for others to run with it mash up style.
I don’t think I’d wear any of it or anyone that I know over 9 years old either. Perhaps if you decorated the tops of the bits with something or layered them or made flowers or something it would be more interesting.
