Ever since I was a little kid, one of my favorite things to watch when I visit an aquarium has been the jellyfish tanks. The way their tentacles flutter in the water and their bodies move with such grace is mesmerizing. This tutorial over on BhoomPlay shows how you can use items you likely already have in your kitchen or recycle bin to create an equally mesmerizing jellyfish in a bottle.

Thanks for sharing this! My husband wanted a real jellyfish tank for his desk like one posted on Make a while back but decided he couldn’t take care of them properly so scrapped the idea. I might just have to make him a few of these in pretty glass bottles to get the same effect without the fear of killing a marine animal!!
Thanks for sharing this great idea. I did it today with my preschoolers. They really enjoyed it and wanted to show it to everyone. We even added strips of green ribbon to make seaweed.
