I first stumbled on Pam Kueber’s blog, Retro Renovation, a couple of years ago as we were renovating our 1961 atomic ranch home. Retro Renovation is a Mecca for anyone who appreciates celebrating mid-century style through home decor, and Pam is a guru for all things vintage. I was really excited to see how she transformed her home office into a vibrant space by creating a wall-to-wall crazy quilt using 18 different patterns of vintage wallpaper from her personal collection. The result is amazing. She shares her process for choosing papers, sizing, cutting the 277 squares and adhering them over on Retro Renovation as part of her series of posts on how she remodeled her home office. I must admit, I used to pass up vintage wallpaper remnants at thrift stores and estate sales, because I wasn’t sure how to use them … this could change all that!
