Back in the fall, we repainted the rooms in our downstairs and put in new flooring. It was exciting and fun to finally update our house a little bit, but I have to admit that things stalled out once we tried to tackle window treatments. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make roman shades, but have been a bit intimidated by the process (even though friends have assured me they really aren’t that hard to make). These shades made from mini blinds are absolutely brilliant and are much more my speed. They may be the key to reigniting my decorating kick ….
