As a family full of Lego fanatics, this lamp posted over on Recylart would fit right in to our home. We could even make a slightly different version for each room! There isn’t a how-to included, but it looks pretty simple. It looks like you could take a square Lego building mat and then build up each side of the shade from there. Cut an opening in the bottom to fit the lamp and you’re done. It probably wouldn’t hurt to use a low-wattage bulb, though. Any other ideas on how you could make it work?
