Niki Lowry of The Daily Muse has a great idea for bringing a salad lunch to work — bring it in a Mason jar! On top of looking beautiful and inspiring everyone that opens the office fridge to want salad too, the vertical orientation serves a purpose. By layering from heaviest (dressing) to lightest (lettuce), with things like beans and tomatoes creating a dressing/lettuce partition, you keep the lettuce from getting drenched and wilted before you crack it open for lunch.
Eat your veggies!

Loved the idea till I realised you still need to put it all into a bowl unless you want to eat through each layer.
Might as well store it in a shallow container then.
I love this!!!!
