I love paint chip crafts. When I first saw the headline “paint chip placemats” flash across my screen, I assumed they would be made out of paper. I was wrong. These placemats, created by Emily Herrick of Crazy Old Ladies Quilts, is made from Ombre Solid by V and Co. for Moda Fabrics. The finished mats represent a rainbow of color on the dining room table.

Maybe I’m missing something here, but 1/2 yard ombre fabric sounds like fabric to me.
Wrong word – thanks for the catch!
