Every August, my mom and I wait anxiously for the annual Pewabic Pottery fire sale in Detroit. This year was no different. It was hot, humid, rainy, and all around gross downtown that morning, but that didn’t stop hundreds of folks from picking up pieces from the historic pottery. Whether people spread out tiles to redo their kitchen or stocked up on holiday presents, the tent was packed. Here’s a peek at the action.
