Dutch artist Purr Anders creates lovely leaf and flower-shaped brooches by printing antique photos onto fabric. She brings imperfect and complex elements from nature into her art, which really complements the beauty of the photographs, which, themselves, can be somewhat imperfect and worn. Her leaf projects also bring to mind the familiar imagery of a family tree, which seems like an especially fitting way to preserve old memories.
