Being in the printing field for over 30 years and starting way before computers helped us type and save copy, type was set with wooden or metal blocks similar to your wallpaper. However, if this wallpaper represents the REAL type from the “letterpress” days, it would read backward instead of forward. It had to be backward, so after the ink was applied to the type with rollers, it was put in contact with the paper and would show as right reading. However I would love to have your wallpaper in my computer room!
