Patch Work Alice decided to be different and made herself a prom dress made from Skittles wrappers.
Alice writes:
Well I was invited to prom yet again this year and felt like doing something a little out of the box. I’m very interested by all the unconventional materials people sew with (I believe it was the garbage bags that gave me the idea). Anyways seeing as I’m also trying to build a portfolio, I figured why not. And so many cavities and sugar highs later it was complete. Really I automatically knew I would use skittle wrappers (because they are fantastic and rainbow…and I love fantastic rainbow things). I also wanted to make sure nobody else had made a dress or anything out of the same kind of wrapper.
You can see more photos in her post on Craftster too.

I absolutely love the dress you made.. can you make me one? Any price is fine? My email is skullchik17@yahoo.com
Great – I should certainly pronounce, impressed with your web site. I had no trouble navigating through all tabs and related information ended up being truly easy to do to access. I recently found what I hoped for before you know it in the least. Quite unusual. Is likely to appreciate it for those who add forums or anything, web site theme . a tones way for your client to communicate. Excellent task..
